Chapter 2.36 Identity Uncovered

Belle knew she was close to the truth now.

Once her aunt had translated the note, and asking her about her plans after high school, Belle left her aunt's and uncle's house. She went straight back up to her room, and read through what the diary entry actually said in a language she could understand.

"Dear Diary," Belle started to read aloud, barely above a murmur. "I'm only writing in this to throw them off. Usually, the woman who owns this diary is dumb enough to write in one, and I don't want the family catching on to me, although I think the spawns are a little curious about me. Here's hoping between them they only have half the brain cell they appear to have and they don't catch on."

"I also decided, why not write down my part of my plan in here, or at least use this diary like a diary and explain what I'm doing. No one will be able to read it except from me, so why not? Weirdly enough,  I've been feeling different about kids lately, mostly from being around all the ones in this house. I know I have Faye, but she's a disappointment. She's pretending to be good. What use is that to me? I wanted another Queen to take over and be just as evil as I am, not a little goody goody like how she is. It's like she tries to fail me. I just think it's better that she's gone. Anyway, I was thinking about possibly having another heir to lead on the evil, and I decided that there's a perfectly good man here, that and 'I' have already got five little rugrats, why not pretend that I want a sixth?"

"I've actually been experimenting a little with my... Ah, lets call my captive my pet, it sounds cuter, right? I wanted to practice my magic some more and while 'I'm' at 'work' I just go to where I'm keeping her and practice magic. I even gave my pet wings once, it was hilarious seeing her so scared and upset. Maybe I should keep her around, or maybe get one of the other spawns to test on. I've only ever tested on fairies before my pet, so this is very interesting. Perhaps I could test on one of the half-dog spawns next. What were they, werewolves? And there's a boy and a girl too! Perfect!"

"The pet always asks about her family. And I can't help but pity her. She's slowly losing it without her family. But it's not like I don't keep her updated. I tell her about all the mean things I do. She looked like she wanted to kill me when I told her what I said to the eldest, and again when I told her about what I was going to do with her precious boyfriend. What anger issues, huh? After all, we're pretty much the same person, well, now we are at least.
It's kind of sad thinking that this is probably going to be the last ever entry. Ah well."

Belle could understand why her aunt felt uncomfortable reading the letter. She felt even worse knowing that the woman who wrote this wasn't actually her mom, and that her mom was somewhere else. It made her wonder who the person pretending to be her mother was, and why she was doing it. Belle figured the woman must have been some sort of fairy queen, but fairies didn't exist, did they?
Now wasn't the time to be questioning fairies, now was the time for confrontation.

Belle couldn't help but think back to when she had met Damon's ex-wife, and when she was rude to her in her own home. Had she had been older, Belle would have defended herself and her home. Now she was older, bolder and wanted that bitch out of her house,

Mostly everyone was downstairs, apart from Belle and 'Alyssa'. Belle went straight up to her, the letter in her hand. "I know you're not my mother." She said outright, scowling. "I read what you wrote, and I know that you've taken her, and you're hiding her somewhere and I want my mom back." Belle glared. "And I intend on getting her back, and making you leave my family alone."
Belle wasn't all so sure what she expected to happen, but one thing she didn't expect to happen was the bright light. She closed her eyes, and was startled by what she saw in front of her.

She was a fairy, and a very pretty one at that. She was grinning, but not a very nice grin though. "Well, well, well. My favourite of the spawn was the one to let me down." She mused. "You're like a little detective, aren't you? That's so cute and adorable." She grinned. "I wish my daughter could be a little more similar to you. Willing to be a bit more devious and willing to lie" She tilted her head and studied Belle, which made the teenager feel uncomfortable.

"But if I were you, I'd go back to playing hopscotch and making up stories, because there is no way in hell I'm losing what I've worked for to some brat." She sneered, and turned back into 'Alyssa'. 'Alyssa' turned and went into her bedroom, leaving Belle unsure of what to do.
Belle returned back to her own bedroom, and tried to think of a way to find her mom.

'Alyssa' knew Tyler would come up to their bedroom soon, she had took his phone and was keeping it hostage until he came upstairs looking for it (not that he knew she took it, of course not, she was smarter than that). She placed the phone down behind the lamp on the bedside table that was on 'his side'.

She figured it would take him about ten minutes for him to find that it was missing, and about another ten until he came upstairs while trying to find it. That gave her just enough time to get ready and to get what she was going to say in order without laughing or gagging. It was difficult having to be nice.

As if on cue, twenty minutes later, he came into the bedroom in search of his phone. "Hey Lyss, have you seen my-" He cut himself off when he noticed what she was wearing, or more like what she wasn't wearing. "What's going on?" He furrowed his eyebrows, confused.
'Alyssa' grinned at him, and went over to him. "Well, I've been thinking..." She trailed off, her arms wrapping around the back of his neck.

"Uh huh..." He trailed off too, wanting to know what she's been thinking about. Of course he had the option of finding out himself, but she had told him not to.
"I was thinking about the kids, and I was thinking about us and I kinda want another." She smiled at him slightly. 'Alyssa' found this part tedious. Part of her wishing that she could just do what she did with Faye, but that wasn't in the real Alyssa's style.

He narrowed his eyes at her. "Another baby?" He asked, "Don't you think we're a little too old to be starting all over again?" He had been rather suspicious of her lately, especially after he heard her and Belle arguing a while ago. The two of them had never disagreed before, especially not to that level.
"Why would our age bother me?" 'Alyssa' asked, confused. This was more annoying than she thought, she figured he would just agree instead of asking all these questions.

Tyler smirked slightly, "Of course, it wouldn't bother you, but it would bother Alyssa." He pointed out, raising an eyebrow.
'Alyssa' took a step back, confused. "Excuse me? What are you implying?" She frowned.
"Alyssa's parents were about our age when they had her, and they passed away when she was a teenager. She didn't want the same thing happening to any of her kids, which is why we had Juniper when we did." He narrowed his eyes at her.

"I-I know, I-I" She stuttered, starting to get worried. It was fine if the teenager found out who she really was, because no one would believe her. The boyfriend was a little bit different. If he found out she wasn't the real Alyssa, everything would go downhill.
His hand went up to her hair, his thumb and index finger running over the ends. "Y'know, a weird thing happens with shapeshifters. When they get nervous or paranoid or otherwise distracted while in another shape, some of their own features mix in with who they're pretending to be." He mentioned, folding his arms. "And your hair looks like it's going blonder, how weird."

"It is not." 'Alyssa' huffed, getting stressed. She was so close to the end of her plan, so very close. This wasn't fair, not fair at all.
"And look at that, you're eyes are going more blue too." He mused, then glared at her. "I grew up with a shapeshifter, I know one when I see one. How about you just give up the act, and tell me where the real Alyssa is." And he closed his eyes when there was a bright light.

A clearly angry fairy stood before him, glaring at him. "This close. I was this fucking close!" She huffed, balling up her fists so she didn't tear him limb from limb right there, right then. "This damn family, I swear to God! It's like you're immortal or something." She glared at him. "First, I try and get rid of Alyssa and the littlest spawn at once and then-"
"Wait." He interrupted, "When she almost died, that was your doing?"

Melancholia scoffed. "Of course it was, Blondie. Who else would it have been? No one's core temperature randomly drops so significantly." She rolled her eyes at his ignorance.
"I was so worried about her, and Juniper. There was no excuse for what you did and for this apparent vengeance you have against her. You could have killed her!"

She rolled her eyes once again, "Well duh. That was what I was trying to do." She muttered under her breath"And you're supposed to be the smart one."
"I am, after all, I saw through your little disguise, right?" He pointed out.
She huffed, "This isn't the last you'll see of me. Trust me."

"See! I told you! Did I tell you? Of course he would know you weren't me." The real Alyssa gloated while smirking. She couldn't help but get at least a little bit hopeful.
"He still doesn't know where you are though." Melancholia pointed out, raising an eyebrow. "And he still doesn't know what I'm going to do to you." She grinned wickedly at Alyssa.

Alyssa's eyes widened, and she backed away. "No, no. Don't you dare." She tried to be overpowering, but she was too scared. She didn't want to go through this again. She just wanted to go home right now. She wanted to be with her family,
"This time, they'll last longer." Melancholia swirled the magic around her palms for a while, before directing it at Alyssa.

"Congratulations, you're now your worst nightmare." She grinned, "Although, there's nothing wrong with wings." She smirked, "Now, if you'll excuse me. I have work to do."
And Melancholia left Alyssa once again upset and now with a new pair of wings.

AN: Dun, dun, duuun.
Blonde Alyssa looks a lot older than what she is. I'm happy she's a ginger. Ginger suits her better.
A lot has happened this chapter, it's very much linked to last chapter. Like I was saying yesterday ago, I split it in two because otherwise it would have been very long,
So, in case it was unclear, Melancholia pretending to be Alyssa is gone, but Alyssa Alyssa is still gone and Melancholia is very pissed off.
Ah, what happy sims I have at the moment :3

Also, I have extensions now, so now my hair can be longer and the length I want it to be! Yay!

Chapter 2.35 Notes and Pages

Juniper had learned something important: Glasses suck.

She had two main options with her glasses. The first one being to wear the ugly things and having to put up with the back of her ears hurting and looking stupid, the second option being to walk around with everything being blurry.
As  much as Juniper hated to admit it, she needed her glasses to see. She didn't feel like running into everything.

She didn't think it was fair. She never had to wear glasses as a toddler. It was only when she aged up and couldn't see anything which was when her daddy got her the evil things. He told her to bite the bullet, and that sometimes we need things that we don't exactly want.
Juniper huffed, it wasn't fair, at all. None of her brothers or sisters needed glasses. None of them had to have them! It was not fair.

Ashton woke up rather groggily, but the first thing that he noticed was that he clearly wasn't in his own room and that the home where he was is a lot smaller than his house. It was about the size of the main room back home, it looked rather old fashioned also.
The second thing he noticed was the very pretty girl over in the kitchen area (at least, he assumed she was pretty).

Third thing was that the pretty girl had wings. Most people would probably notice the wings first, but he was distracted by... Other things.
Of course, he made the connection that if she had wings, she was a fairy. He was rather surprised to find that they actually existed. It could be argued that being that he was a supernatural too, what else would he expect? But he never really thought about fairies, what teenage guy would spend their time questioning fairies? That sounded like something more suited for his little sister.

The fairy looked relieved when she saw him awake, which made him rather confused. What had happened? He remembered that he had an argument with his mom, got annoyed and stormed out. He then recalled ending up somewhere in the woods, and then waking up here.
It left him wondering: what the hell had happened?

Ashton sat up rather slowly when he saw the fairy walking over to him, and he also noticed that she had a little note with her. He half smiled at her and in his still partly asleep state, he murmured "Hey."
She smiled back at him, and he couldn't help but wonder why she didn't say it back. She handed him a note which read "I'm Faye. I know you've only just woke up, but there's quite a lot we need to talk about. Well, you'll be talking and I'll be writing. I can't talk." and she half smiled sheepishly at him once he had read it all.

"You're Faye?" He looked at her, and she nodded. "I'm Ash" He introduces himself, and asked"You can't talk? How?" He looked over the note she had written. She had pretty handwriting, a lot of girls did.
She sighed, and wrote something down in her notebook and tearing out the page. She showed him the note which said "It's kind of a long story...There's a lot we have to go through first though." And she frowned. Ashton could tell it was something serious, he just didn't know what it was yet.

"Belle? Does your mom know you're here?" Connor was rather surprised to see his sister's eldest daughter on his doorstep.
"Yeah, she knows I'm here." Belle smiled, lying. Her mom had absolute no clue where she was, and the way she was lately, Belle doubted she cared. "Is Aunt Sabrina in? I was hoping to talk to her." She smiled innocently.

Her uncle looked rather suspicious of her actions, so she followed with. "We were given this letter in history to work out how old it must be depending on the language, but I want to know what it says." That was only a partial lie. She had figured that the weird language in her mom's diary was one used a long time ago, and she knew her aunt loved historical things like that (or at least, that was what Belle was told.) "I was figuring Aunt Sabrina could help me with it." She smiled.
Connor narrowed his eyes, still finding it a little odd. "I think Sabrina's in the kitchen." And he stepped aside so Belle could come in.

Sabrina put Daisy down in the swing, then turned to look at Belle. "Your mom knows you're here, right?" She asked, smiling slightly at her. It was nice to see Belle, Sabrina hadn't seen her for quite a while.
Belle nodded, "I told her. So, I was hoping you could help me with this. It's a diary entry, and I remember that you liked things from forever ago." She smiled. "You're really clever with all this stuff too, it's almost as if you were alive then." Belle decided to kiss up to her Aunt a little, unaware of the partial truth behind it.
Sabrina laughed, a little uneasily. "Almost as if." She echoed, wanting to change the subject from her age. "So, what is it you want help with?"

Belle had given Sabrina the page from her mom's diary, and watched as her aunt read it though. Sabrina seemed rather uneasy reading it, which worried Belle slightly. It made her worry that she might have to start telling the truth about where she got the page from. She didn't want her aunt or uncle to worry over something that could be possibly just her imagination though, so it wasn't that bad of a lie.
That, and she liked this so far. It was fun playing detective, she felt like Sherlock Holmes! But she wore dresses and didn't have a hat, scarf or magnifying glass.
"What does it say?" She asked after a while.

"You were right. It is a very old language." Sabrina murmured after reading the page. "It's Native Simlish, we used it before there was too much of a written down language, which is why some of the 'letters' kind of look like hieroglyphics." She explained, then frowned in a concerned manner. "School gave you this?"
Belle could tell her Aunt was slightly concerned about the diary entry, which made Belle concerned about her mom. "Yeah, in history. We were told to observe the language differences, specifically the lettering used, but I wanted to know what it means."

Sabrina frowned. "It's... Incredibly disturbing." She shuddered lightly, not liking the letter at all. "At least, what I can understand of it. It's a diary entry about taking some woman's identity, stealing her family and boyfriend, breaking the family apart and most likely going into darker things." Sabrina frowned.
Belle tilted her head. "How do you know? I mean, how do you know that it's someone else?" She asked. She wasn't all too sure what to think of what her aunt had found out about the diary entry. Either her mom had developed a disturbing new sense of dark humor, or her mom wasn't her mom at all.

"Because, it mentions often of this other woman and taking over her life. I'm taking it means literally because it speaks of shape shifting and finding it a pain." Sabrina looked at Belle, and then asked "Do you want me to translate it for you? Then you'd remember what it means."
Belle half smiled at her Aunt "That would be really helpful." She didn't really know what to think. All this talk of shape shifting and identity stealing made her feel sick and dizzy. Was her mother not her mom? Was that why she has been acting weird?

If it was for real, it would make sense. It would make more sense about why her mom had been mean lately, and not just blaming it on a midlife crisis. But if her mom wasn't her mom at home, then where was her real mom? This was a lot for her to take in at once.

"So. what exactly is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" Ashton asked, and watched as Faye wrote something down while giving him an odd look
Faye furrowed her eyebrows at him, wondering why he was sitting upside-down. She showed him the note which read:"Well, to start off, why did you leave your house in the first place? And why are you sitting upside-down?" Faye had her hopes on him leaving his house originally might of had something to do with 'Alyssa'.
Ashton  shrugged "Sitting upside down's comfier, I prefer it and it helps me think. I left my house because my mom was being a bitch to my sister and then when I yelled at her for it she was being a bitch to me so I walked out. I went to the woods, it felt as if something was dragging me somewhere, so I followed and then I woke up here." He explained very briefly.

Faye frowned lightly, and wrote. "I'm not sure how to write this, but your mom isn't your mom. That's why she's been acting weird. My mom kidnapped your mom, and then turned herself into her to try and ruin your family, but I want to keep that from happening which is why I kinda did the spell which made you feel like you needed to go somewhere and why you woke up here." She half smiled sheepishly at him, watching him read what she wrote.

"So, let me get this straight. Your mom kidnapped my mom, and to make it right, you kidnapped me." Ashton said outright, frowning at Faye despite the fact she was still upside-down (at least, the way he saw it she was, whereas in reality he was the wrong way up.)
She pursed her lips, frowning. She wrote down "I'm sorry. But I needed to talk to you." She honestly didn't think her plan too far through on how to talk to him.

Ashton sighed "So, is that all you needed to talk about?" He asked
Faye shook her head, and wrote "No. I think I know where your mom is being kept, but I can't rescue her. I can't get in to where she's being kept, and I can't go there because I'll be too obvious." She looked at him and wrote on a separate piece of paper "Which was why I needed to talk to you before it was too late. My mother isn't a nice person at all." She frowned.

"Right." He murmured, frowning. He wasn't fully sure if he believed her. It was a bizarre idea to comprehend and he wasn't so sure that he did. "What do you mean by before it's too late?" He frowned.
Faye sighed, and wrote down on another piece of paper. "I think you know what I mean." And she frowned, sjowing him the note.

Chapter 2.34 The Diary
______________________________

AN: I liked Ashton hanging upside-down. I thought that pose looked cute on him ^-^
So, this was originally going to be one ma-hoo-sive chapter, but then I decided to keep what suspense I have made and split it in two (Half of the next one is already written even before the pictures of this one were done so... It won't be all too long, no worries.) That and it's to give you an extra long tea break in the middle :3 (or coffee or hot chocolate, or maybe even beer, I'm not judging what you drink).

I decided that one of my sims needed glasses so I gave Juniper glasses, also for the irony. The one who can see into the future can't see, haha.

I got my first ever C last week :( but I'm saying that it didn't really count because the teacher didn't use a mark scheme (she marked a test on her own accord) and that teacher hates everyone and especially me for no freaking reason, and we haven't even gone through half of what was on the test and no one got more than a B so, yeah. I'm not counting that. I just see it as a bad teacher who's also being petty and stupid by not using a mark scheme on an exam and by not even helping us when we didn't know how to correct the tests we've done.

But, bright side, I think I;m doing better in my English because my teacher seems less pointing-out-my-mistakes-ish and she was smiling at me more so... :3 Silver lining.

This has been a rather long AN, mostly me ranting about my psychology teacher (but she is a bitch)
Last thing, I got this pop up in game:
:( But don't worry! I still have plans for her before she goes!
It's really late now, I'm going to bed.

Holiday Hiatus

I have no clue why, but I feel anxious writing this.
probably paranoia again. I get paranoid over everything. Everything.

Anyhoos, I've decided a hiatus is best for a few reasons.

First one being school. As much as I love writing, my work and school comes first and I've actually been falling behind slightly (not  massively. I've been targeting to get B's instead of A's and A*'s.) but to be able to get into the theatre program, I have to be on top of my studies, and yes, a B is good, but I don't want a B. B is for Bad and I want an A for Amazing.

Second reason is confidence. I've always had fluctuating confidence. I'll be as vain as vain can be (noticeable, probably. I don't mean to be, I just can't help it.) but... I don't know. I've been in this kind of funk lately. Part of myself wonders what there really is out there for me, and what there actually is for me and what the hell I am and if there's always someone better than I, what am I supposed to do
Preferably I don't want to get into all that (sucky) jazz.

And I'm worried all that's making me write to not the best of my abilities.
I want this blog to mean something to me, and this (the reasons) have really been eating me up alive recently.
Ah, I really didn't mean for this to turn into a rant or anything, but it really seems to be going that way.
I'm not sure when me or the Matthews will be back, at least after this term (semester) is over, maybe before. I don't know. It depends on when everything seems to feel better again, and when I feel better about myself again and when I'm feeling more :) instead of :(

I'll still be somewhat around, just not all too much.
Au  revoir (for now)
~Carrie ♥

P.S. One last thing, happy birthday to my blog on the 1st of December.
Crazy to think that it's almost been a year since I made Erin and Thomas...

Chapter 2.34 The Diary

Juniper was looking around Belle's new room

It was confusing, that's for sure. Juniper was used to Belle's room only having a single bed, and all the butterflies on the walls. Now, there were no butterflies and no princess bed.
At least it wasn't like Melody's room though, Melody's room was all dark and scared Juniper.

Juniper had seen Belle cuddling a baby, and she assumed it was a boy as it was wrapped up in what looked like a blue blanket and Juniper could tell it was Belle because of her hair. The image was really bright, as always. Boys weren't as good as girls, but that wasn't the point.
Juniper had never, ever seen that baby before, and she knew that babies didn't just come out of nowhere, so she was looking around Belle's room to see where she had hid it.

Belle looked down at her sister who seemed to be looking around her room. "You're teddy isn't hiding in my room, June-bug." She pointed out, watching as the toddler looked around her room.
"I'm not looking for Squiggles, silly." Juniper giggled, then whispered. "Where'd you hide him?" She asked.

Belle frowned, and lifted Juniper up on to her bed. "Where did I hide who?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She wondered what on earth her sister was on about.
"The baby, silly." Juniper looked up at Belle, who was very confused. "I saw you cuddling a baby, where did you put it?"

Belle was more than confused, wondering what her sister was on about. She sighed. "You're only a toddler, and you're already baby crazy." She murmured under her breath. "Junie, you're the only baby in this house. There's no other baby." She told her. "Now, I think we should stop saying the 'b' word, because my boyfriend is over." Belle smiled at her little sister. She thought it was probably best to ask her little sister to be quiet, so she wouldn't have to explain to Axel why her little sister was talking about babies. That would be a sure-fire way to scare off any teenage guy.

Juniper frowned. "But I saw you cuddling him!" She protested, scowling, stomping her foot and folding her arms as she stood up on the bed. She didn't get why Belle didn't believe her. Juniper rolled her eyes. Sisters, huh?
"And who were you cuddling?" Belle's boyfriend raised an eyebrow, grinning. He knew that her little sister liked to come up with stories sometimes (or at least, that was what Belle had told him.)
"She's just making up stories again." Belle smiled, slightly uneasy. She did wonder what her sister meant, but it was probably best to talk about that later.

Belle picked up Juniper, and took her back into her room. "We'll talk about what you said another time, okay?" She whispered.
Juniper nodded, smiling slightly. "Can't it be a girl instead?" She asked, pouting.
"We'll see, maybe." Belle replied absently, not fully focusing on what her sister said and she went back into her own bedroom.

"You're little sister can be really creative, can't she?" Axel asked, sat on Belle's new double bed.
Belle half smiled, "Yeah, creative." She murmured, making sure her door was firmly closed. She didn't want anyone overhearing their conversation."Anyway, I wanted to talk to you about something, and what you think I should do."

He narrowed his eyes, suspicious. "You've not robbed a bank or anything, have you? If you have, I expect you to buy me something pretty to keep my mouth shut." He smirked at her.
She sighed, grinning in return. "Dammit, you caught me. I'll buy you a pretty pair of earrings to keep you quiet, okay?" She laughed, joking.

"Besides from my robbery, there's something else I need to talk to you about, and I need your opinion on something." She frowned, serious now.
He frowned. "You're kind of scaring me, Belle. What's going on?" He asked, and watched as Belle went into her drawer and pulled out a book.

"It's my mom's diary. I took it." She sat down on the bed, and placed it in between them. "I figured that if I wanted to know why she said what she said, and why she's been acting so weird, this is my best chance." She explained, frowning.
"Right... And you need my opinion on what?" He asked.

"On whether or not I should actually read it." Belle frowned. It was an invasion of privacy, a huge invasion of privacy. She needed to know though. She wanted to know why her mom acted the way she did.
He frowned, looking at the diary as he spoke. "I'm not so sure Belle. I guess that depends on what you want to do." He murmured, feeling rather awkward about this situation.

"I want to know why she's being so weird, and why she's being so mean all of a sudden." Belle frowned. "She's being horrible, and I don't know why but I want to know why."
Axel sighed, then shrugged slightly. "Then read it, but if I were you, I'd only read the relevant parts, so the more recent entries."
Belle nodded slightly, half smiling. "Yeah, I don't really want to know about who my mom had a crush on in high school." She murmured, opening the diary and flicking through it slightly.

Melody happened to like her new room. It was cool, and edgy. She didn't want a pretty room like what Belle has, she wanted one with more...
Personality.
However, something was slightly bothering Melody though.

She looked a lot different from the rest of her family, and even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with that (she liked being different, don't get her wrong) she couldn't help but feel not quite as pretty as her older sister.
Her older sister was part French, and everyone knows that French girls are prettier than other girls. That's just basic knowledge. French girls just scream sex appeal (not literally of course) but do female werewolves?
Nope.

Melody frowned. It wasn't like she was jealous of Belle or anything, after all, her sister wasn't exactly the smartest nor the bravest. Even though Melody could be forgetful sometimes (and her imagination used to get the better of her often) but at least she was rather clever. Belle was as dumb as a bag of...

She stopped that train of thought, not wanting to be mean to Belle. It wasn't her fault she wasn't very clever. She left her bedroom, and saw her mom in the hallway. She wanted to ask her mom about something, but wasn't fully sure how to do it.
"Mom?" Melody asked, quietly. Her mom didn't hear her, so Melody just repeated louder. "Mom?"

'Alyssa' rolled her eyes. She was ignoring her on purpose, but now she couldn't. Stupid brat. "Yes?" She asked, pleasantly while smiling.
"I-I wanted t-to ask you something." The brat stuttered, looking at the floor. Was there something wrong with it? 'Alyssa' sighed, figuring it was probably nervous about something.
"Yes?" She repeated, a little more irritated.

Melody looked down at the floor, regretting asking her mom now. She didn't seem like she was in a good mood. "D-Do you think I'm pretty?" She asked, finally looking up at her mom. She kind of figured that her mom would say yes.
But the situation of where her actual mother's  location was still unknown to Melody, as 'Alyssa' smiled. "Sweetie... Do you want me to be honest?" She asked.

Melody frowned, wondering what her mom was going to say, but she nodded anyway. "Of course."
'Alyssa' sighed. "Well, for a start, you never have your hair down and that fringe? What are you? Juniper's age?" She laughed, then carried on with "And your lips too, they really are quite small. Other than that, you just look plain, there's nothing that's specifically pretty about you." She shrugged, smiling simply "That, and you have nothing to you. You're as flat as an airplane runway." 'Alyssa' laughed, then smiled sympathetically. "At least you'd be able to get work done, maybe for your next birthday, you can get a nose job or a boob job or whatever you want." And then she walked off to her bedroom.

Melody went back into her bedroom, and stood back in front of her mirror. She wasn't so sure what to think. It wasn't like she was exactly fishing for compliments, but she didn't expect her mom to be so... Honest. She thought that her mom would have sugar coated it a little.
She couldn't help but look at what she looked like in the mirror. Was she really that unpretty?

Belle was idly flicking through the last couple of entries in her mom's diary. She did feel guilty doing this and looking through it, but then again, her mom was willing to keep one secret from her, how many more was she willing to keep?
Belle was more encouraged by that thought, and was even more concerned when she saw that one page was written all in funny letters, ones she didn't recognize.

She tore the page out of the diary, noticing nothing was behind it. The entry was dated a little bit after her mom's adult birthday, but a change of birthday doesn't mean you start writing in a different language with weird looking symbols! It looks like something they would study in history at school.
Maybe she should talk to her Aunt Sabrina about this. Her Aunt was really clever when it came to old things like this, almost as if she did in fact live in the past.

Juniper was thinking about what she saw, maybe it wasn't actually Belle's baby, maybe it could have been a future baby brother for her. She didn't like that thought. Juniper had to be the youngest sibling, that was the rule!
"I don't want a brother." Juniper told her Daddy, frowning. Her Daddy looked confused.

Tyler put the book away, looking at Juniper "There's not much that can be done about Nate or Ash, June. I know you prefer your sisters, but we can't trade them in or anything." He half smiled at her.
She shook her head. "No, they're okay for now." She half smiled, and then explained. "I don't want a baby brother. I'm the only baby." She huffed, folding her arms.

That just confused him even more. "Did your Mommy tell you a secret about that? Or did you see it?" He asked, picking her up and sitting her down next to him.
"Saw it." Juniper responded, and couldn't help but smile a little. She always felt special whenever she could see something. "I don't want a baby brother." She frowned, figuring that it might have been a little brother. She didn't want one, ever. Juniper was the youngest, and she wanted it to stay like that. She didn't want to share her room or her toys with an icky baby brother.

"I promise you won't have a baby brother, or a baby sister. Sometimes what you see might not come true, so that's one of the things that won't come true." He explained to her.
"No baby brother then." Juniper smiled, happier now. She didn't want to share her Mommy's and Daddy's attention with anyone new. They were all hers!
"No baby brother, or baby sister." He smiled at her. "You're enough of a handful as it is." He grinned at her.

Faye grinned, able to see that her plan was working. She was so close to being able to meet him. Not like she would ever tell her mother what her true intentions were, but she wanted to warn him about her mother.
He was so close. Just a little more magic would probably make the lure slightly stronger. It wasn't like she was purposely dragging him there, a lure was more just like a nagging feeling of needing to go somewhere. She wasn't trying to hurt him or anything, she wasn't her mother.

Her eyes widened when something went wrong, and when he collapsed. If Faye could talk, she would have cursed. She didn't intend on hurting him, and she knew it was her fault. If only she could have spoke to him normally, without needing magic, then she wouldn't have lost her voice and he wouldn't have collapsed.

She quickly went over to him, and tried her hardest to get him to wake up. She knew it wouldn't be a fatal thing or anything but she was still panicking because unlike her, he actually had a family to go home to. She stayed with him, waiting for him to wake up.

AN: Can I just point out how sassy Juniper looks in the sixth picture? She looks so sassy! It's so adorable! It kinda looks like she's with a bunch of people who aren't paying attention to her, and that she's going to diva out at any minute.

This would have actually been out a lot sooner if my laptop didn't keep crashing on me.

And I redid the teenager's rooms (Belle's, Melody's and Ashton's rooms). The butterflies and princess bed was too little kid-ish for Belle, so I gave her a new pretty room, and I gothed up Melody's room. Her's is my favourite.
I'm still in the process of doing Ashton's, hence why his room hasn't been seen yet.
