We've Moved!

That's right! This legacy has a new home!

Of course, this blog will still stay up, yet all of my updates will be here:
https://matthewsrandomlegacyredone.wordpress.com/

It's fully up to date with posts and such.

Some of you may be wondering why, and it all started with an email about nudity.
Basically, any nude pictures meant that the blog went bye bye, and not wanting that to happen, I checked out wordpress.

I fell in love with all the shininess of it.
And the rest is history... ♥

To reiterate:
This page will no longer have updates
Updates are here: https://matthewsrandomlegacyredone.wordpress.com/

Chapter 2.44 Four Letter Word

Friday night, spent inside, building a house of cards. How exciting.

Melody didn't mind all too much though. The house was mostly empty as her mom and Tyler had gone out, Ash was over at his girlfriend's place and Nate was out somewhere with his somewhat girlfriend, so it was only her, Belle and Juniper in the house but Juniper was asleep so it was more like just her and Belle. Melody picked up another card, about to add it to the house of cards.

"Careful, careful." Belle repeated, watching as Melody put another card on top of their little house of cards. "Seriously, if you make it fall, I'll never forgive you. That took us ages." She murmured.
"I am being careful." She mumbled, and nudged the bed all so slightly, The house of cards toppled down, and Belle was frowning at Melody who was grinning."Maybe not so careful, but you can't give me a lecture on being careful." She raised an eyebrow.

Sighing, Belle gave Melody a look. "Alright, fine. I'll forgive you just this once. Only because I know something that's going to happen tonight," She grinned.
Raising both eyebrows, Melody asked. "Oh?" Her voice rose a little with the question, wanting to know what Belle knew, and hoping that she didn't know a certain something.
She lowered her voice to a whisper. "Tyler's going to propose to mom tonight." And she grinned.
"Really? Wait, how do you know?" She asked, interested.
Belle just simply tapped the side of her nose. "Don't say I never get what I ask for."

"You meddled, didn't you?" With her eyes narrowed, Melody studied Belle momentarily.
Holding up her hands in defense, Belle retaliated with "Hey, you try being off all the time with nothing better to do. They both wanted it anyway, so what if I just-" she made a gesture with her hand, "-moved it along a little."
Melody smiled slightly, and sighed. She paused before asking "Do you really have to move out? I'm going to miss you." She frowned.

She sighed, closing her eyes momentarily. "It's for the best. I'm going to be an adult soon, and with me and the baby as well staying here... It just makes more sense to move out. It's not like I'm going to another city or anything though, I'll just be somewhere else in town." She shrugged.
Melody frowned still. "I know, it's not like you'll be gone forever, but still. It'll be weird being the oldest around here."
"Technically, Ash will be the oldest. He's older than you, remember?" Belle reminded her sister, smiling slightly.
"Like I said, it'll be weird being the oldest around here." She put emphasis on 'oldest' and the two of them laughed.

"It'll be weird for everyone at first, I doubt mom's all too happy that I'm going to be an adult soon, but y'know." She gave a small shrug. She then sighed slightly. "So, wanna try rebuilding the house or are you going to tell me why you chose hanging around with me instead of going out tonight?" She raised an eyebrow.
Melody shrugged simply. "Can't we just say I'm staying here because I'm a caring sister?" At Belle's narrowed eyes, she sighed and muttered. "I was going to go out with you know who, but it turns out that he didn't think we were exclusive and Sophie asked him out for a date."

Belle frowned. "I'm sorry Mel. Guys suck, all of them. They all suck. It's better that it ended now rather than quite a while down the line, it'll hurt less." She mumbled, looking away.
Melody stayed quiet for a long time, before asking. "Have you spoken to Axel recently?" She spoke quietly, almost tentatively. She knew that deep down, her sister wasn't taking the breakup well at all.
Belle was still looking away, and she sighed heavily before answering with. "I was going to the other day, but then I made the mistake of going on his social media page..." She got out her phone, and showed Melody what she had found.

Melody's eyes widened, hardly believing the picture she was seeing. "That's..." She trailed off, trying to see if it was somehow fake... It certainly didn't look it.
"Olivia Mattriot. Heiress to all the hotels around the world and she lives in one of the huge mansions in Bridgeport. She's rich, beautiful, classy, smart and she's helped out with almost every charity out there." She sighed, "And she also looks like Axel's new girlfriend." She spoke quietly.
"It's just one picture though." Melody added quickly, frowning. "I doubt it even means all that much, he might have kissed her by accident and accidentally taken a picture." She tried, giving Belle her phone back.

"But what do I have that she doesn't have?" Belle countered, frowning. Melody could tell that she was close to crying. "She's smarter than me, she's prettier than me, she's richer than me, she's nicer than me and she's not pregnant, or maybe she is, I don't know!" She huffed. "All I know is that out of the two of us, why would he go for me? I've kept something incredibly important from him for so long, and I wouldn't want to date someone like me." She looked down. "Why would he want to when he could have someone like her?"
Melody frowned, not really sure of what to say. Moving around to where Belle was sat, she gave her sister a hug. What Belle didn't quite know couldn't hurt, right?

At first, Alyssa was a little unsure about going out tonight. Part of her was reluctant of leaving the house because Belle but she convinced her that she would be fine. Alyssa was glad she came out now, she hadn't been on a date in so long and she loved getting dressed up and going out.
"So, I think I should thank you for making me come out tonight." She grinned at Tyler. "I think I was just being a little too paranoid about something going wrong."
"Well, I'm happy to make you do things your hesitant about." Joking, he grinned in return.

"You know you'd never be able to make me do something I don't want though." She grinned mischievously, her hand brushing against the table top as it went into the middle of the table.
"You think I don't know that? I love you, but you can be quite stubborn sometimes." He half smiled at her, his hand going over hers.
She tilted her head slightly, "I prefer determined." She decided. "Maybe strong willed, possibly stubborn if you're paying." Grinning, she looked him in the eyes. She looked up, and the smile soon dropped from her face.

Tyler made sure that the ring box was still in his pocket when he started by saying. "There was actually another-" He then stopped when he saw that she looked worried and she was distracted by something. "Is everything okay?"
She cleared her throat, and mumbled. "There's a guy behind you, at about 10 o'clock. He looks a lot like someone both of us know, very well,"

Once he glanced behind himself, Tyler knew who Alyssa meant. He looked back at her, and asked. "Is that Nathaniel's dad?" He spoke quietly.
Alyssa nodded. "His name's Adrian, he's my boss." She mumbled, sighing slightly while discreetly looking at him and the woman very close to him. He was one of the last people she wanted to see, ever.

Melody sighed, "Got any twos?" She mumbled, looking over the cards she had.
"Go fish." Belle responded idly, glancing up at Melody.
She narrowed her eyes. "Liar. I looked at your cards, you have like, three twos."
"You looked at my cards?" Belle frowned, "That's cheating! You're not supposed to look at my cards."
"Well, when you have to go to the bathroom about a million times, can you honestly blame me for getting bored?" She defended herself, then put down her cards. "I think we should stop playing."
Belle hummed in agreement, her eyes still narrowed at Melody. "So what else should we do?" She asked.
Belle shrugged simply. "I don't know. I really don't feel like doing anything right now, Too much effort to get up, nothing's truly worth it." She murmured, and laid back on her bed.

Melody laid down too, and let out a sigh. "Can't beat them, might as well join them." She half smiled. She bit her lower lip, and mumbled, "There's something I feel as if I should tell you."
Belle sighed slightly. "I don't mind all too much if it turns out that it was you who ripped up my book when we were kids." She did mind though. She loved that book, it was her all time favourite and it was ripped to pieces. She was heartbroken over her poor book. Sure, her mom bought her a new one but it wasn't the same. She knew it was either her or Ashton and Ash never messed with any of her stuff. Melody however...

"I didn't rip up that damn book! Sheesh!" Melody huffed, then mumbled. "You know how Elvie meddles sometimes? Well-" She stopped when she noticed Belle sit up rather abruptly and she frowned. "Is everything okay?"
She sighed slightly. "Yeah, I'll be fine. I just got a bit of a weird feeling, I'm fine." She mumbled as an excuse, taking a few deep breaths.
Her eyes widened. "You're not in labour, are you? Because you're just going to have to cross your legs or something. Seriously." She started to panic, not sure what to do. She wasn't insured on either of the cars and what if she crashed? Come to think of it, she didn't even know where the hospital was exactly. She just knew that it was near the city hall, but she didn't even know where that was! That, and they live kinda far away from there, what if they didn't make it there? This was way too stressful for her right now.
Belle narrowed her eyes. "No, I'm not and cross my legs? Really? You really think that crossing my legs would solve anything?" She asked, rather dumbfounded she would suggest that.
"Well, if you did that in the first place..." She started, soon trailing off.

"Ha, ha." Belle grumbled, laying back down. Part of her felt uneasy, and wished their mom was back home. She glanced across and noticed that Melody had quite a few texts on her phone. "Who's that?"
She shrugged, "Just some guy." She grinned, picking up her phone again and texting 'just some guy'.
"You know, you don't have to stay in with me. I'll be fine on my own for a while." She shrugged. "Besides, I'll have Juniper to keep me company, I might 'accidentally' wake her up if I get too lonely." She grinned.
Melody glanced from her phone and back to her sister. She hesitated, but shook her head. "I can't leave you on your own..." She mumbled, knowing that she needed to be here for at least a little while longer.

"I'll be fine. Mom and Tyler are probably going to be home soon anyway, and if I really need someone, I'll just call them and it'll be fine." She half smiled. "Go out and have fun with 'just some guy' but not too much fun. I doubt mom would want another grandchild soon." She teased lightly.
Melody half smiled, figuring the plan might work a little bit better if she weren't there. "Okay, but if you need me, I'll be back before you know it." and with that, Melody was gone and soon later, she heard the door open and close.

Belle sighed while sitting up, figuring that she should get used to quite a lot of alone time. She's never really been on her own for too long, she's always had family or friends or Axel around, but now she didn't. Now, she was on her own.
She could have sworn that she heard something though, coming from outside...

Alyssa was wishing that all of her exes would disappear, especially Adrian. It wasn't like she had any other specific vendetta against him (apart from the fact that when she told him about Nathaniel, he ran faster than the road runner) but tonight was a lot nicer until she saw him. "I honestly have no clue what he's doing here." She mumbled,
Tyler wasn't much happier about her ex being there and ruining a moment. He looked back over at Adrian, narrowing his eyes and mumbled. "He's there with his wife. He's thinking about their anniversary."

Alyssa pursed her lips, glaring at where he was with his wife. He left her on her own to pick up the remains of her broken divorce and third pregnancy without as much as a bat of an eyelid, but he married that woman? It  made her wonder what the hell he must have done to her, or perhaps if he gave her some sort of disease or something. It wouldn't surprise her if he had one (not from her and way after her of course). "He's married?" She asked rhetorically through gritted teeth. She had to physically restrain herself from running over and hurting Adrian. She knew it wasn't all of his fault, and things worked out better having broken up with Damon, but she could have done with a at least a little bit of emotional support from him. At least Tyler was there for her, she was more than thankful for him being there for her and doing the job that asshole had been neglecting. She counted to ten in her head, before mumbling "Can you work out how long for?" She asked.

"If either of them are thinking about it, then yeah, I can." He mumbled. His eyes widened when he learned how long. He looked back at Alyssa "You know, I don't think it matters all too much about how long they've been married for." He shrugged it off.
She narrowed her eyes. "How long? Just answer me. I don't care that much." She grumbled, and sighed.
Hesitating before, he explained. "Well, let's just say you weren't the only one who cheated but you were the only one who was honest about it."

Her eyes widened, not sure what to say. He was married when they went to Bridgeport? That means that she was his mistress and not that only he was her paramour. They were both cheating, but she was the only one who admitted to it (partially because she had to.) Was this why he never saw Nathaniel? Or perhaps it was because he never did want kids. Either way, his wife certainly didn't know about Nate. She honestly felt like causing a scene, but she knew that it was neither the time nor place. Too busy wrapped in her own Adrian-hurting thoughts, she didn't notice that he wasn't actually there anymore.

"Lyss?" Tyler got her attention back, and she noticed that Adrian and his wife had left.
"Sorry, I just got a little distracted." She mumbled, really not expecting to see him there. She couldn't help but think about their fleeting relationship. He never once mentioned a wife, nor did he ever wear a ring. She also couldn't help but think of the little things, like how he always used her full name whenever talking to her and he had such a smarmy way. Was he like that with his wife? She couldn't help but wonder.

"Anyway, what were you going to say?" She asked, smiling at him. She recalled that he was starting to say something before she noticed Adrian.
He shook his head. "It doesn't matter, it can wait for another time." He smiled slightly at her, knowing that now would be probably one of the worst times to ask.

Belle was certain she could hear music, or maybe her brief moment of solitude has drove her insane after a whole minute on her own? Maybe if it was her going insane, if she focused on it, it may go away. That was a theory, right?
"Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
Tell you I'll set you apart"

Her eyes widened when she heard that voice, and she stood up and went over to the window (thankful that the crib could just be rolled to the side a little). Of course she knew who's voice it was, but it couldn't be. Or could it? Darkness took over the minimal chance she had of seeing who it was, and confirming her suspicions. It sounded like it was coming from the back porch however.
"Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions
Oh, let's go back to the start
Running in circles, coming up tails
Heads on a science apart"

As she went out on to the landing, Belle figured that it wasn't just in her head because it faded when she got further away from where it was. Unless if her mind could somehow make music fade out accordingly?
"Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh, take me back to the start"

Downstairs however, she couldn't hear anything other than the sound of Maya's insane barking. Clearly someone didn't like it, but it made her realise that it must have been for real, which meant only one thing... She quickly went into the music room that lead on to the back porch

"Tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh, and I rush to the start
Running in circles, chasing our tails
Coming back as we are"
Belle smiled widely when she saw who it was, but she couldn't help but wonder why he was here. He was supposed to be over in Bridgeport, not on her porch.

She opened the back door, worried. She never told him about the baby and figured he was going to be angry with her. Not just a little angry, but really angry. It was understandable, of course, she kept something from him.
"Nobody said it was easy
Oh, it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I'm going back to the start" and then he put his guitar down.

Silence hung for a while, or at least it felt like it for Belle. "You're not freaking out, why aren't you freaking out?" She asked, freaking out herself. It worried her how he wasn't angry or freaking out or anything.
"Your cousin kind of told me already," He half smiled, taking a few steps towards her. "She called me and yelled at me and called me an asshole for what I did to you. I didn't know what she meant and then she explained what she meant and I came back home." He looked down and then back up at her. "I still don't get why you didn't just tell me in the first place." He frowned

She pulled a face, not all too sure what exactly to say. She was panicking a lot the day she found out, and made up the excuse to break up in haste. Thinking back on it now, she honestly had no clue. "Hormones?" She tried, smiling sheepishly. She sighed. "I'm sorry, I was really scared and I was worried about how you would react and I knew how much you wanted to go to Bridgeport and how hard you've worked to go there and I didn't want to mess it all up." She frowned.
He frowned, his hand brushing over her cheek. "You'd never mess anything up for me, you should know that." And he kissed her on her forehead.

She was going to say something, but she paused when she felt something drip down on to her foot. She frowned, looking up at the ceiling, which was Juniper's room floor. "That's odd." She mumbled, she didn't think that there were all too many pipes underneath Juniper's room. She shook her head slightly, looking back at him. "I do know that, I was just worried." She frowned, looking up at him. She then gave him a small smile. "I'm happy you're back though."
"I'm happy too, I'm happy that I can see you again." He smiled at her. "So, what do you think about us getting back together?" He asked, and got rather nervous when she stayed quiet for a while and was looking down. "Belle?" He frowned.
She looked up at him, rather panicked. "Right now, I think we need to go to the hospital."

Despite the mishap with seeing Adrian, it was still a nice night. She was still none the wiser about the ulterior motive behind that night and still just thought it was just an ordinary date. "You know, at first I thought this date had some sort of hidden purpose behind it." She grinned, "The kids were acting a little suspicious..." She mentioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh? Well, I hope it didn't give you any ideas." He grinned in response.

Frowning when her phone started buzzing, she checked it after ignoring the first few vibrations. Her eyes widened when she read some of the texts. "Belle's gone to the hospital. I got a text from her and a few from Ashton. He and Faye are at the house, apparently Melody's gone out." She told him, rather worried about Belle.
"We should probably get over there." He paused, then asked. "How did she get there?"
Alyssa bit her lower lip, checking her phone once more before putting it away. "Apparently her boyfriend drove her there."

Meanwhile at the house, Ashton and Faye were downstairs in the main room. She's noticed that he's been rather quiet since they came back to his place.
"You're worried about your sister, aren't you?" She frowned. "She's going to be fine."

He sighed slightly, looking at her. "I know, I just can't help but be a little worried. I mean, when Juniper was born I remember that my mom really died." He frowned.
"But that was technically my mom's fault." Faye mumbled, smiling sheepishly. "I'm sure she'll be fine. Thousands of babies are born everyday." She smiled more at him this time before adding. "Besides, what are you going to be like when we have our own?" She asked.

"Our own?" Ashton asked, rather muddled. He knew he wasn't the best at biology, but he was certain that you needed to have sex before you could have kids.
"In the future, of course." She clarified, half smiling. "Not now, trust me. I want to be married first." She grinned
"Do you really think about our future that much?" He looked at her, raising an eyebrow.

She looked up at him, turning so she could rest her legs over the arm rest. "I think about it sometimes, I've been thinking about the future and things a lot more recently though, ever since we started dating and when my mom died." She smiled at him. She never told him, but she never really knew anything outside of the fairy world. She liked the normal world with proms and other fun things like that.
"So, what specifically do you think about? What are our lives like in your version of our future?" He asked, curious about what she imagines for the two of them.

"Well, we'll be married when we're rather young, a while into our adult stage. We're going to have all our children in wedlock though." She made that clear, and then continued with. "I think we'd have a big family, I think you'd kinda want a big family anyway. You're used to being in one and I hated being an only child. Our eldest would be a boy and he'd be a lot like you. Then, we'd have twin girls, and they're the best of friends. They both have pretty flower names too. Our youngest would be a boy too, and he'd be our special little guy that we spoil rotten." She grinned. "Two of them would be werewolves like you, and the other two would be fairies. I've not yet made up my mind on who would be what, but we'll let them decide that." She shrugged.
He grinned at her. "That sounds adorable. I'd love to have that future with you." And he kissed her.

"I prefer being on the other side of this situation." Alyssa mumbled, looking down. "I feel useless on this side. Belle's in pain and there's nothing I can do about it. At least on the other side, I'm not worrying about anyone all too much." She sighed, wishing there was something she could do besides worry and get herself coffee.
"This side isn't fun at all. I don't think any side is all too fun at this point." His hands went on to her upper arms, "But it'll be over soon enough, and it always ends well." He half smiled, hoping to make her worry a little less.

"At least on that side you get gas and drugs to take the pain away, on this side, all you get is kinda crappy coffee and vending machine snacks." She crinkled her nose slightly. She let out a sigh. "I guess it's just kinda weird. I remember first bringing Belle home and she was the most precious and smallest baby ever, I didn't want to put her down. Now, she's having her own precious and small babies and it's not fair." She frowned. "I remember when I first held her, and I said something and she knew my voice was mine." She smiled at the memory and mumbled. "I really hope she's okay."
"She'll be fine. She's a tough girl, like how her mom is." He gave her a small smile and she smiled back in return.

She looked at him while z\her hands slid into his pockets. She pulled a face as she was trying to find something. "Not in those pockets, maybe the other ones." She mumbled, barely audible.
He took her hands as she pulled them out of his pockets. "What exactly are you doing?" He asked, confused.

She simply grinned at him. "You might be the mind reader, but I know you. I know you set up the date tonight because you were going to propose, and the kids acting suspicious earlier kinda clued me on to it. Belle was determined that I go out tonight and Juniper asked me earlier today if she could see my ring." She raised an eyebrow. "When I told her I didn't have one, she looked like she had just told me something that she shouldn't have." She proved her point, grinning. "I'm taking you were going to ask before I saw Adrian?" She asked.
He narrowed his eyes slightly, accusingly. "Are you sure you're not a mind reader?" He then got the ring box out of one of the pockets she hadn't rummaged through.
She smiled widely when she saw it. "You still have to get down on one knee though." She pointed out.
He took her hand as he went down on one knee. "I know, you'd never let me get away without being on one knee."
She grinned, "Just checking you knew."

"Well, when I thought about how I would propose, I didn't really think it would be in a hospital cafeteria, but I suppose life has a tendency of throwing us curve ball after curve ball, but we always turn out stronger and closer throughout everything. When we first met, I knew there was something special about you, and I thought you would never go for someone like me, until I heard you mutter to your friend that you thought I was cute, since then we've been through our fair share of drama with deaths, infidelity, crazy exes and even a whole fairy army against us, but through everything you always manage to hold your head up high and move on from it. You're one of the bravest and most caring people I know, and I can't imagine ever being without you by my side again. Alyssa Matthews, will you marry me?"
She smiled widely, and got down on the floor so she could hug him tightly. "Yes! Yes, I'll marry you."

"I still think Ben's quite a nice name for him. We could call him Benny or Benji or something as a cute name, but he'd still have a long name if he's ever in trouble for some reason." Belle's voice was a whisper as she held her newborn close.
"I think Benji suits him, he's gonna be my little rocker one day, he needs a cool name." Axel grinned, careful not to move his hand all too much from where it was helping support their son's head.
"Not if he doesn't want to be though. He might not like music like you and I do. He might be smart like how my mom is." She pointed out, smiling slightly.

"Or he might be like my parents and into art and photography." He smiled. Both of their attention was fully on the sleeping baby in Belle's arms.
"Whatever he turns out to be, we'll both love him more than anything." She smiled softly. She then grinned and rested her head on him. "I've got my two guys, I'm happy." She laughed a little.
"And neither of us are going to be going anywhere any time soon." He promised her, kissing her softly.

"And no Olivia's to get in the way." She had a somewhat warning tone to her voice. "I think we should tell my parents soon that there's someone here they need to meet." She smiled slightly.
"It was just a publicity thing. She can't hold a candle to you." He smiled at her, then took a moment before saying. "I'll go and tell them in a bit. I think it should just be us three for a little bit longer."

On the way home, Melody was grinning. She knew her plan of getting Belle back with her boyfriend had worked, her mom and Tyler were going to get married soon and she had just met up with a very nice guy (but she doubted there was anything there). She was in part of a daze while walking, and didn't even noticed the person she ran into and knocked to the floor.
Her eyes widened, "Oh my God! I'm so, so, sorry Miss. I didn't mean to knock you down." She helped the woman up, and the woman brushed back her plum coloured fringe before looking Melody up and down.

"It's cool. What's your name?" She asked. She had a good idea of who this person was. She would recognize that eye colour anywhere, and the fact they were glowing clued her on to something.
Melody was a little unsure about giving the woman her name, but she knew she wasn't in the wrong. All she did was run into her. "Melody. Melody Matthews." She mumbled, narrowing her eyes at the woman.
The woman grinned. "I thought so. My name's Tawni, and you and I actually have quite a bit in common."

AN:  I've had a lot of happiness this chapter. We've had an engagement and a baby being born. That's a lot of happiness for one itsy bitsy chapter. I wanted this chapter to be out for Valentines day, but that didn't really happen so... Yeah. Ah well. It doesn't bother me all too much about when it comes out.
So, the song Axel was playing/singing was Coldplay-The Scientist I was uming and ahing about which song to make him sing, I think Coldplay was needed there, haha.

That is Adrian's actual wife in those pictures. He's been married to her before Nate was born so y'know, there's a slice of truth for ya. He has a couple of kids with his wife, I was tempted to add them in and make it a family thing but that would have been too mean to Lyss.
His wife is very pretty though. It's a remake of this sim. I gave her normal skin and dyed and styled her hair.

Ah, so another long chapter from me. Also, I found something out while playing:
I had no clue teens could wish to marry someone!
I don't think Alyssa would be all too happy if her daughter got married before her though...
