Rosie got a distressed phone call fairly late at night.
Part of her didn't want to abandon her perfectly comfy bed, then again, if it was important... She got up and out of bed, and answered her phone.
"You need to come over to the castle, like, right now." It was Liam, and Rosie couldn't help but wonder what all of this was about.
"What? Why? Can't I come over when its morning." She mumbled, fed up. She just wanted to be a normal teenager. Wasn't it bad enough that her own dad, the only parent she's properly know, is more likely to be dead than alive? Apparently not.
"Its Alyssa." She could tell he was whispering, and at the mention of her little sister's name, she took more interest.

Rosie got angry "What the hell is she doing to her?" She snarled, keeping her voice low though. She didn't want to wake up either Erin or Connor.
"I'm not sure, but its best if the plan takes action now."
"Now?" She asked, then sighed. "We can't, especially if Alyssa's in there. I don't want her getting hurt." She frowned.
"Then what are we going to do?" He asked, and as she walked around her room a little, she got an idea.
She hesitated, "I have an idea, but you're just going to have to trust me."

Alyssa was stood right up against the fence. This place was scary, and she more than certainly didn't like the bones in her cell. She frowned, looking at the fairy "Can I go home?" She asked nicely.
"Not yet." Elli answered, pacing. She then stopped, and looked at Alyssa "You're more important to this than you think." She grinned.
She didn't get why this fairy woman was so happy. Alyssa was starving, and just wanted to be home. "Can I at least have something to eat?" She asked quietly, on the edge of crying. She wanted to go home, she hated it here.
"There's a bowl in the corner, isn't there?" She rolled her eyes, going away from the cage like cell.
"That's for dogs though." She frowned, and the conversation was ended there. Alyssa honestly thought she was never going to get out of here, until she saw Rosie that is.
"Not yet." Elli answered, pacing. She then stopped, and looked at Alyssa "You're more important to this than you think." She grinned.
Rosie was scared, that was for sure. There was a possibility, a high one, that everything could go drastically wrong. The only thing she was certain of was that it would be easier to fight something else, and not what she usually wore.
Terrified was probably a better word to use rather than scared, as she held on to her trousers to make her hands stop shaking.
"Deep breathes and be brave." She whispered to herself, closing her eyes for a split second. When her eyes opened again, she was ready. She was ready to face her demon head on, even if it meant risking her own life for her little sister. Family first though, right? She was ready to fight.
"There's a bowl in the corner, isn't there?" She rolled her eyes, going away from the cage like cell.
"That's for dogs though." She frowned, and the conversation was ended there. Alyssa honestly thought she was never going to get out of here, until she saw Rosie that is.
"Get the hell away from my sister." Rosie growled, walking towards Elli. She was scared, of course she was, but sometimes bravery can overcome fear in dire situations.
"Rosie!" Alyssa called out, happy to see her big sister. She thought she was going to be stuck here forever... Alyssa was a little nervous when Elli didn't immediately free her though.
"Isn't that adorable?" Elli mused, smiling wickedly. "Little Rosie has come to save her sister. Too bad it won't work." She grinned.
Rosie narrowed her eyes "What are you on about, just get away from her!" She yelled, glaring.
"You think I'm just going to let her go?" Elli questioned, the smile dropping from her face.
Rosie went closer towards her, eyes narrowed. "You better." She growled, but before she knew it, she was on the ground at the other side of the room.
Elli grinned, "You should just give up now, Rosie. There's no way you could ever beat me." She laughed wickedly.
Alyssa's eyes were wide as she looked at her sister on the floor, "Rosie!" She yelled, and was relieved when she got up.
"I'm not going down easy."
"I'm not your puppet that you can just play with." She half smiled, going back over to Elli. "I'm not gullible, and I'm definitely not afraid of you." She folded her arms, "And I'm not using that wand you gave me, I don't need it." She grinned.
"What are you talking about?" Elli demanded, going over to her. Orbs and streams of magic were coming from Rosie's fingertips, and she sent them directly in Elli's direction. It then sent her into a coughing fit, while Rosie quickly ran to where Alyssa was being kept captive.
Rosie looked at the gate in front of her, seeing exactly how she could unlock it. It looked like it needed a key to unlock, but a key was no where to be seen. "Don't worry, I'll get you out of here." She murmured.
Alyssa was blinking, unsure of what to say. She had just seen her 'normal' sister perform magic.
"R-Rosie? You might wanna turn around again..." Alyssa whispered in a small voice. She saw the evil fairy recover, and turn to face Rosie. There was an evil glare on her face.
Rosie was confused "Huh? Why?" She turned around, but only managed to go part way.
Rosie was confused "Huh? Why?" She turned around, but only managed to go part way.
Elli made Rosie levitate, just enough to push her back "Don't mess with me, you brat!" She yelled, smiling when she hit the floor. There was a thud too, which only made this all the more better. She was still fuming though, and went over to Rosie, prepared to inflict more damage.
"No!" Alyssa yelled from where she was watching. "Stop it!" Elli simply ignored Alyssa.
"You could have just cooperated." Elli growled, her fingers closing around Rosie's throat. "You could have been one of the greatest witches there's ever been." She watched as the young witch struggled, trying to find any way or mean to escape. "You could have had all you ever dreamed of having, all you ever wanted." She spat, glaring.
"But what do you chose to do? You chose to be a little bitch and go behind my back! You chose not to be of any help, and just be a nuisance. You're like a disease Rosie, and I have no problem with getting rid of you." Venom dripped from each word she said, as Rosie's attention was elsewhere. She saw Liam out of the corner of her eyes, telling him to free Alyssa.
When Rosie went still, Elli stood up again.
Liam looked down at Alyssa "Come on, I'll take you home." He whispered, making sure Elli couldn't hear or see him.
"Will Rosie be okay?" She sniffled, already crying. He didn't say anything else, and just took her home.
Elli turned away from Rosie, knowing she had won.
Summoning the last ounce of strength she had left, Rosie stood up. She was dizzy, light headed and honestly felt as if she was going to faint. But to hell if she was a quitter. She was going to win this.
Elli raised an eyebrow "Not had enough, huh?" She grinned, imagining that Rosie will just faint in a matter of minutes. She went over to her.
Rosie raised her arms, the magic following her. She was going to faint soon, she knew it. With the little bit of energy she had, she growled "Have fun in hell. Satan's been saving a seat for you." For the first time, she saw fear on Elli's face. Both of them knew Rosie was going to win. The magic went straight to Elli, freezing her solid.
Rosie started to stumble backwards, and passed back out on the floor. There was a cracking sound too as she fell.
Her eyes were open still, which made it all the more haunting. When Liam got there, he ignored the fact his sister was frozen, and went straight over to Rosie. He couldn't help but feel responsible for what happened to her. He shouldn't have left her alone with Elli. He knew most of all how violent she could get, that's how he turned out to be the way he was. He gently picked Rosie up, being careful with her, and he went back to her house.
Rosie woke back up in her own bed, in what she usually wears to sleep. She stretched slightly, then saw Liam. "What happened?" She asked.
"Well, what do you remember?" He asked, thinking that was probably easier than him going through the whole story.
"Elli..." She furrowed her eyebrows, trying to remember, "Is she actually gone?" She whispered, and Liam nodded.
"Elli's gone. You killed her, and she almost killed you." He sighed, "There's something I want to talk to you about..." He trailed off, looking at her. She patted the space next to her on the bed, wanting him to join her.
He sighed slightly, and hesitated before speaking "I want us to get married."
Rosie blinked a few times, "What?"
"I know, its sudden. But when you were passed out, almost gone... I couldn't think of my life without you." He confessed. "I know we're both young, but that doesn't matter to me. Unless it does to you?" He asked.
"Age doesn't matter to me." She grinned. "I want to marry you." She moved over, and kissed him.
Sure, they were young, but does it really matter when you're in love?

AN: I know, the whole 'I love you' chapter was the one before last one, but I thought there should be some happiness in this chapter.
Ding dong, the fairy's dead! For realsies too. I just hope the action scenes weren't too terrible. I'm bad at action, better at drama.
Fairy's dead, good riddance. Poor satan though..... Liam is such a romantic, wanting to get married after Rosie killed Ellie. Best wedding gift ever:D For real. Now, Liam can find Thomas as a wedding gift for Rosie and.... no? It was worth a try
ReplyDeletePoor Satan, he'll have to put up with her.
DeleteIt is quite a nice wedding gift knowing that the evil b**ch that tried to kill you is dead :)
It was worth a try at least...
Woo! Elli is dead and Rosie & Alyssa are safe (I hope). I hope Rosie & Liam get to have a happy ever after :)
ReplyDeleteWoo! She's dead and they're safe. And Rosie and Liam get to have a happily ever after (Unless SP comes along and ruins it)
DeleteYay! Elli's dead! Good. And now Liam and Rosie get to live happily ever after...maybe?
ReplyDeleteBut what about Thomas! *pouts* :c
Yay for no more Elli! And yay for happily ever after (Unless SP decides to break them up in the future)
DeleteNews on him will be in the next chapter
Hurray! No more Elli! How awesome is it that Rosie was able to channel her powers as a witch without the evil wand too? That had to have been a very nasty surprise for Elli. Ha! I'm really glad Alyssa wasn't hurt too badly. Will she tell Erin about Rosie's powers or will Rosie get to do it herself now? And what does Erin think of the entire episode? I can wait to know!
ReplyDelete*can't. Geez. Sorry.
DeleteThat was a very nasty surprise for Elli. Turns out she never needed the wand after all!
DeleteErin's opinion on it all will probably come in the next chapter.
It was bugging me how there was an odd number of comments. There, all fixed :)
DeleteDing-dong the witch is dead! Except, the witch actually lived it was the fairy who died. But Elli was more of a *itch than Rosie so the song still fits :P
ReplyDeleteI also wonder what Alyssa is going to do now that she knows about Rosie's powers. And the ending was cute. They'll make a cute couple together. Although Thomas and Erin are still the cutest couple in your legacy even if they're not actually a couple. (In my opinion)
Ding dong the *itch is dead? I think that works. Hah, kind of ironic how the fairy turned out to be evil and the witch wasn't. Take that fairytales!
DeleteI'm glad you found it cute, and that they're the second cutest couple. So that puts Connor and Sabrina third in your rankings? Unless if the dogs outdo them somehow...
Actually I'd say it's a tie for second between Rosie and Liam and Sabrina and Connor. We'll see if that changes with future chapters. Although once I pick my favorite I don't spend too much time ranking the others, unless there's a couple I'm really against or something.
Delete*nods* Okay, I understand the ranking system now. I was worried I wasn't making Connor and Sabrina adorable for a minute. Problem solved itself then! :D They're still adorable
DeleteWell, good. I don't have to stop reading the story (your username is still at risk, though...).
ReplyDeleteYaahhoooooo!!! (lol, always wanted to say that) Elli's dead! Yayyyy! Well done Rosie! And aww, they're getting married :D
What? Why is it at risk? I'm confused.
DeleteWoo! Evil fairy is dead! :D And yay for Rosie for killing her and getting engaged in one day/night/a couple of hours
I get it now! I get it, I read this one before the other one.
DeleteI don't think my username will be at risk when you see the newest chapter ;)
Ugh, Elli again? Can't Liam and Rosie just kill her already?
ReplyDeleteOh good, well at least Rosie did. Liam was fairly useless
